Avaya 8405B Telephone

The 8405 voice terminal is available in four models. All of these models are similar in appearance and functionality except for the following differences:

• The Avaya 8405B has a one-way listen-only speaker, with no display
• The Definity 8405B Plus has a two-way, listen and talk speakerphone, but does not have a display
• The 8405D has a one-way, listen-only speaker, with a 2-line, 24-character display
• The 8405D Plus has a two-way, listen and talk speakerphone, with a 2-line, 24-character display

Despite their differences, all four models are comprehensively equipped so you can make the best use of the many features of the Definity Communications System Generic 1 and Generic 3, the Definity Enterprise Communications Server (ECS),

• Nine Fixed Feature Buttons for Volume, Conference, Mute, Speaker, Transfer, Shift, Drop, Hold and Test.
